How quickly can the locksmith be there?
In Heerlen and the rest of Parkstad usually within 15 to 30 minutes. In the Heuvelland, around Beek and Stein, in Belgian Limburg and the German border region allow a little longer; each place shows its average response time.
How much does a locksmith cost?
Door opening costs from €99 and car opening from €99. An SKG** cylinder costs from €89, an SKG*** cylinder from €129. The call-out fee is €40. Evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays carry a surcharge. You always hear the price in advance.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Yes, a fixed €40. If you cancel an emergency job more than 10 minutes after calling, we charge this €40.
Will my door be damaged?
A door that has slammed shut is almost always opened without damage. If it is double-locked and the cylinder has to come out, we tell you first and fit a new one straight away.
Are you available at night and at weekends?
Yes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
How can I pay?
Straight after the job, by card or in cash. If you pay by card, you also receive an invoice. Business customers can pay by invoice within fourteen days.
Do I need to show ID?
Yes. Before we open a door, car or safe we ask for ID or other proof that you are authorised. If it is inside, you show it right after we open up.
Do you give a guarantee?
We give a 1-year guarantee on our work. Locks and cylinders also carry the manufacturer's warranty.
Do you work in Belgium and Germany too?
Yes. In Belgian Limburg we cover places such as Maasmechelen, Lanaken, Dilsen-Stokkem, Voeren and Riemst. In Germany and East Belgium places such as Aachen, Herzogenrath, Übach-Palenberg, Kelmis and Eupen.
Which cylinders do you fit?
Only cylinders with the Dutch SKG test mark: SKG** (two stars) and SKG*** (three stars, with anti-snap protection).
