How we open a car
We use an inflatable air wedge to create a small gap at the door and a long-reach tool to work the handle or unlock button inside. The paint, the seals and the lock stay intact. On older cars without central locking we sometimes open through the door lock itself.
Keyless, boot and broken car key
If the key of a keyless car is in the boot, we can usually open the car through a door and then release the boot from inside. If the key has broken off in the door lock or ignition, we take the piece out. We do not program new car keys; for that we refer you to the dealer or a car key specialist.
Where we come
On your drive, in a multi-storey car park, at a petrol station, in a car park at an attraction or by the motorway: we come to the car. When you call, tell us where the car is, the make and the year. You hear the price straight away. In a car park, tell us which level, because reception there can be poor.

All prices are starting prices including VAT. If you cancel an emergency job more than 10 minutes after calling, we charge the €40 call-out fee. Evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays carry a surcharge. You always hear the exact price in advance.

Questions about car opening
Do I have to prove that the car is mine?
Yes. After opening we ask for the vehicle registration papers or other proof that you may use the car, plus ID.
Is opening a car with an air wedge safe?
Yes, as long as it is done calmly with the right tools. The wedge only pushes the door a few millimetres open.
